Las razones de SVT para no elegir  el “Friends Arena”

La cadena sueca ha dado los motivos por los cuales  no se eligió el “Friend Arena”.

El primer motivo es  por el  gran tamaño del estadio, que incrementaría  los costes del  festival, ya que  entre más grande es el recinto donde se haga, las necesidades técnicas, como la iluminación y el sonido, obligatorias  en un evento de televisión de estas  características, deben  cubrir  todo ese gran espacio y suprimir las  interferencias  ajenas al evento, como el sonido de las miles de personas  que albergará y de más elementos  que puedan  distraer a la audiencia del programa.

 También  a causa de su tamaño el tiempo de construcción y preparación de las infraestructuras necesarias  dentro del estadio se alargaría irremediablemente, y no pudiendo estar seguros de terminar el proyecto antes de  las seis semanas anteriores  al evento como  se pide.

El segundo motivo, son  las ganas de transmitir el espíritu de Eurovisión, tanto a los millones de personas  que lo vean a través de sus pantallas, como a los miles que se  trasladen  a la ciudad elegida y vean el festival en directo. Creen en la cadena sueca  que en una ciudad menor  y un  estadio mas  pequeño pueden trasmitir   a todos los espectadores y visitantes la magia del  festival, ya que es más fácil que una ciudad pequeña se involucre más en el evento  haciéndole vivir Eurovisión a sus  visitantes.

The swedish Channel has given the reasons why they haven't chosen the "Friends Arena"

   Firstly, because of the size of the Stadium, which would increase the costs, since, the bigger the stadium is, where all the technical facilities such as sound, lighting etc, recquired at a tv show, must be covered in such big place, and lift the jamming beyond the event as for example the noise people can make there and other elements which can distract the audience attention, the more difficult and expensive it can be. Also, because of the size of the stadium, the time of the infrastructure construction could be endless, and the Svt is worried not to finish it in 6 weeks time the EBU demands.

   The second reason is the wish from the hosts for communicate the real Eurovision spirit, both to the millions of viewers and the thousands in the Arena.

   The Svt believes that it is easier to offer the real magic of ESC to all the viewers as well as the thousands of visitors in a small city as it is Malmö, and also easier for a small city to involve   in the contest than a big one.
