Fechas provisionales para Eurovision 2013

Las fechas que han hecho públicas, para el próximo festival de Eurovision, a celebrarse en Suecia, tras su victoria en Bakú, Azerbaiyan de manos de Loreen son:

                                        14 de Mayo: 1º semifinal.
                                        16 de Mayo: 2º semifinal.
                                        18 de Mayo: Gran Final

Provisional dates

Provisional dates have been announced for the next ESC to be held in Sweden thanks to this year Loreen´s victory in Bakú will be:

14th May: First semifinal.

16th May: Second semifinal.

18th May: Grand Final.

Tres posibles sedes para Eurovision 2013

Son tres la ciudades que se barajan para albergar la próxima edición del festival, Estocolmo, Goteborg y Malmö. Todas ellas tienen en común que ya han organizado al menos un festival de Eurovision, y en el caso de Estocolmo han sido dos las ediciones organizadas, la del año 1975 y la edición del año 2000, la última hecha hasta el momento en el país escandinavo.

La posibilidad que suena con mas fuerza es Estocolmo, por diversas razones, por ser la capital y por la inauguración del Friends Arena, prevista para finales del 2012, estadio con capacidad máxima para 67.500 espectadores y nueva sede de la final del Melodi Festivalen.
Esta ciudad tiene en contra las fechas elegidas para Eurovision, por coincidir con el campeonato del mundo de hockey sobre hielo que también acoge esta metrópolis.

Goteborg ya ha reservado el Scandinavium para las fechas del festival, estadio con capacidad para 14.000 espectadores, que ya fuera sede de Eurovision en 1985.

Malmö, por su parte ha hecho lo mismo con el estadio Malmö Arena, con capacidad para 15.500 espectadores.

There possible cities to host ESC

Stockholm, Goteborg and Malmö, are the three cities which have shown their wishes to host ESC. Each one has already hosted ESC previously.

Stockholm is the city which has more posibilities, it has already been the host city in 1975 and 2000.

Some of the positive reasons are:

On the one hand, it´s the capital of the host country, on the other hand because of their new "Friend Arena", which will be opened in November , which a capacity for around 65.500 seats.

A negative side to Stockholm to host it is the fact that they will also celebrate an ice-hockey world championships by that time.

The city of Goteborg has already confirmed the "Scandinavium" to be the venue of the contest by then the Arena has a capacity for around 14.000 seats and it was also the venue of the ESC in 1985.

The city of Malmö has also confirmed the Malmö Arena to be the venue of the contest with a capacity for 15.500 seats.
